Vintage Tribal Rug from Southern Morocco. Wonderful, vibrant colors alternate with woven bands of black and white. Wool fringe adds interest to the sides of the piece. Typical of Glaoui pieces is the combination of embroidery, hand-weaving and hand-knotted wool. Generally used as tent panels, these stunning pieces work very well in Modern or Mediterranean-inspired spaces. Wool has softened over time and is supple enough to be used as a blanket or throw.
