order instead of chaos…
looking a little more like a turkish kilim (but rest assured, it is a vintage moroccan wool rug with pile) than a mad hatter moroccan rug, this orderly cream and brown lattice design is an exercise in restraint, lol. neat diamonds fill the field and get a little variation from the natural hues of the undyed brown wool. truly a great tribal textile that could play well with lots of other styles.
